Hi there, I’m Bethany.

The first thing you’ll want to know about me is that I am a real life survivor of serious clinical darkness. I began battling with severe depression and anxiety as a preteen–over 25 years now. In the last several years I’ve traded the inner fight for inward curiosity and compassion, and through the change in posture toward myself I have found more freedom and experienced more growth than I ever thought I could.

Helping women heal emotional wounds is a passion born out of my own journey through suffering. On the way I learned quickly I needed the help and guidance of others, and still do. If you need another other, I’d be honored to join you.

Enough about me, though. How are you? How are you really feeling?

I know one thing is true for all of us, the stress and weight of all that’s going on in the world is overwhelming.

How are you coping?

If you’re not, know that you’re not alone:

  • The national average for adult anxiety & depression symptoms in February 2023 was 32.3%. 1
  • 1 in 5 U.S. adults experience mental illness each year, and more than half of these do not receive treatment of any kind. 2
  • In 2021, suicide was in the top 9 leading causes of death for people ages 10-64. It was the second leading cause of death for people ages 20-34. 3
  • Prevalence rates of PTSD are higher in women (10-12%) than men (5-6%). 4

No one deserves to be isolated and alone in their pain.

Finding the will to take steps out of the dark might feel like more than you can do. Plus, it’s hard to find a therapist with openings right now. Luckily I’m still building my practice here in South Carolina after relocating!

So will you let me help you get back to feeling like you again?

It matters to me is that you have the strength and motivation to carry out what you are made to do. Because you, sister, have purpose.
