Even if you’re not new to counseling, you might be surprised to know there can be more to therapy than talking about your feelings. If you’ve tried thinking your way out of your turmoil and it hasn’t worked long-term, I can help you try something different.
My clients are not problems to be fixed. They are women in need of compassionate attention and care, so they can be released from their burdens and move forward in growth and passionate pursuit.
Internal Family Systems
(IFS)
“Part of me feels this way, but a part of me feels the complete opposite.”
It’s the human experience to feel torn by an internal conflict. If the situation is severe enough we become overwhelmed into a state of shut-down or stuckness because we feel so divided and unable to move forward.
And we’ve all been there, because we all have parts.
But we can learn to see these parts as valuable, deserving of care and compassion, rather than problematic disorders that need to be cured. In doing so, we are able to coax our parts into releasing trauma and unifying under our leadership.

Brainspotting
Our brain and body are connected.
It sounds strange but if you think about it,
we tend to function as if the two were separate.
Connecting our body’s experience to the brain is profoundly healing for us.
We can do this through focusing our gaze on a Brainspot while experiencing
a sense of safety and acceptance. Learn more below:
